Krymsky Bridge in a Winter Thaw
Angle view on the sun lighted Krymsky (Crimean) Bridge from Pushkinskaya Embankment of Moskva (Moscow) River (area of Gorky Park) in a winter thaw. Designed by engineer V. P. Konstantinov and architect A. V. Vlasov, the bridge was built in 1938 as part of Joseph Stalin's ambitious reconstruction of downtown Moscow. It is a part of the 14 kilometer Garden Ring road (Sadovoye Koltso) around the historical center of Moscow city.
