«MSU Building With Puffy Clouds and Water Reflection»

View from a fountain pool on the high-rise building of the Moscow State University (MSU, Rus: MGU) with puffy clouds and water reflection in a summer season. The main building of the most prestigious university in Russia was constructed on Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills, former Lenin’s Hills) in 1949-1953. It is one of seven famous Stalin neoclassic towers founded in honor of the 800 anniversary of Moscow city in 1947. The MSU main building was the tallest building in the world outside of New York City at the time of its construction and remained the tallest building in Europe until 1990.
