Facade Decorations with Emblem of USSR
Fragment of facade decorations of the top (highest levels) of the main building of Moscow State University with the state emblem of the USSR. The building is a 36-story skyscraper in Moscow that was constructed on Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills, former Lenin’s Hills) in 1949-1953 by German war prisoners. The project of the University ensemble was designed by Soviet architects L. Rudnev, S. Chernyshev, P. Abrosimov and A.Hryakov.
