The building is a 36-story skyscraper in Moscow that was constructed on Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills, former Lenin’s Hills) in 1949-1953 by German war prisoners. The project of the University ensemble was designed by Soviet architects L. Rudnev, S. Chernyshev, P. Abrosimov and A.Hryakov.
