The view on the residential Stalinist high-rise building on Kudrinskaya Square from a fountain.

The building was built by project of architects Mikhail Posokhin and Ashot Mndoyants in 1948-1954. The 22 floor high-rise building has more than 450 apartments that were given in 1955 to workers of aviation industry, test pilots and nomenclature of Central Committee of Communist Party and Council of Ministers of USSR.

Gem-looking St. Micah’s Church

This small church is dedicated to the memory of the Most Holy Theotokos - St. Sergius. It was built in 1734 over the tomb of St. Micah (one of the closest disciples of St. Sergius). The veneration of the Mother God was central in the life of St. Sergius.
