«Silver Onion Cupolas of Smolenskaya Сhurch in Suzdal»

View on the elegant onion cupolas (domes) of the cathedral Our Lady of Smolensk in winter season. The church was built in Suzdal in 1696-1706, and restored by architect Olga Guseva in 1960. It has many features in common with other buildings belonging to the same period.

Ivan the Great Bell-Tower Complex and Flower Bed

View from Taynitsky Garden on the beautiful complex of Ivan the Great Bell-Tower framed with flowerbed with brightly colored summer flowers. The complex consisting of 81-meter tall Ivan the Great bell tower and belfry with the largest Assumption bell (weighing about 65,5 tons) has been formed for two centuries (15th-17th centuries).
