Moscow State University (MSU)
The main building of Moscow State University (MSU) became the main stage of the Sixth Moscow International Festival "Circle of Light" in 2016. On the facade of the building were projected using 3D mapping technologies light performances, lasting about 50 minutes - including a performance of Russian reserves. The heroes of this light show become young Volchonok (Wolf) and wise Albatross (Mallemuck), which travel through the steppes, forests and Lake Baikal water to rescue the earth from the fire. More than 200 powerful light projectors created video projection at the building of Moscow State University with an area over 40, 000 square meters.
The 240-meter-tall main building of the Moscow State University (MSU) is the tallest of seven Stalinist high-rises erected in Moscow at the end of 1940s - beginning of 1950s. They came to symbolize new Moscow in the aftermath of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 (WWII).
