Gilded sculptures of the fountain “Friendship of Nations” and the colorful stripes of projection mapping on the building of the Central VDNKh Pavilion during the 6th Moscow International Festival "Circle of Light" 2016. The Central VDNKh Pavilion “House of Nations of USSR” was designed by architect Yury Shchyuko and built in 1950–1954. It is the main and the most monumental building at VDNKh park and exhibition center in Moscow. The People's Friendship fountain is the largest fountain at the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNKh). It was opened in 1954 and became the symbol which reflects the celebration and high spirits associated with the victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, embodying the national dream of prosperity in the whole world. Sixteen gilded statues of women standing around the golden wheat sheaf symbolize the republics of the Soviet Union before the 1956.
