Festive Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Bridge on a Winter Night
Beautiful view from Berezhkovskaya embankment of Moskva River on the pedestrian bridge of Bogdan Khmelnitsky with reflection on the water of the river and Rostovskaya embankment illuminated with colorful spotlights at night during the winter holidays 2018-2019. Originally named "Kiev Bridge" this bridge is now officially named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, hetman of the Zaporozhian Cossack Hetmanate of Ukraine. It was opened on the official Day of Moscow, 2 September 2001. The foot-bridge was built using the old railway arch bridge Krasnoluzhsky (1907 year of construction) that was moved closer to metro station Kievskaya and Kievsky Railway station.
