At the Church of Intecession on Nerl in Bogolyubovo

My Dear clients from Australia, Liz ad Rob Adams, with background of famous architectural monument in Vladimir region, the church of Intercession on Nerl river, that stands on a small hill among broad water meadows a mile from Bogolybovo. The beautiful white stone church was erected in 1165 to commemorate a victorious, yet a sad campaign against Volga Bulgaria during which Andrey Bogolyubsky lost his young son Izyaslav.
