Ancient walls and towers of Archangel Michael Monastery

The view from earthen rampart walk on the architectural ensemble of the walled monastery of Archangel Michael from its corner tower with a leaning spire. The monastery originally founded in the 13th century contains on its grounds churches and towers built in 17th and 18th centuries. Around the monastery, you will notice the remains of the earthen rampart that surrounded the old town and was part of its fortifications. Walking along the rampart, you will get a nice view from different perspectives on this ancient small town.
