Taken from a park named by Alexander Pushkin, located on a high hill in the historic centre of Vladimir darkness falls after a beautiful Winter sunset. Rising above the trees in the background are the spires of the Church of St. Nicholas at the Galleys (Tserkov Nikoly v Galeyakh) in Upper Kalinin Street (Verkhnaya Kalinin-skaya Ulitsa) built in 1732-1735.

Heavy Weaponry on Tverskaya

On May 5th, during the general repetition of the military parade dedicated to 63th Anniversary of our Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), tanks, self-propelled howitzers and other heavy weaponry filled the whole Tverskaya street in downtown.
