«Horse-Drawn Carriage on Kremlevskaya st. against Nativity Cathedral»

Festively decorated horse-drawn passenger carriage moving on Kremlevskaya street during the Broad Maslenitsa street festivities. Maslenitsa or Pancake Week is the traditional Russian holiday on the last week before Great Lent. Usually, it is the end of February – beginning of March, when the winter is at the finish line, and the real spring has not started yet. The beautiful Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral of Suzdal Kremlin (inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO) with blue onion-shaped cupolas (domes) is in the background of the picture.

Photo #081 taken on March 13, 2016 during long-distance countryside tour to Suzdal and Vladimir with my Dear client from USA, Brandon Pelsmaeker.
