The beautiful and impressive frescoes with an image of Our Savior on the inner surface of the cupola (dome) of the Church of Intercession of the Holy Virgin in the Tsar’s Chambers. The church was built with the royal palace on the ground of Holy Trinity – St. Sergius Lavra in 1690s in the “Moscow Baroque” style. The renovated frescoes on the church walls belong to early 18th century.
