Bottom view of the gilded church chandelier hanging under the beautiful ceiling of Refectory decorated with paintings and plaster moldings on a biblical, religious theme. The splendid interior of the refectory of Holy Trinity - St. Sergius Lavra (monastery), covering 510 square meters and also painted in a dazzling checkerboard design, used to be the largest hall in Russia built at the end of 17th century in the "Muscovite Baroque" style on money commissioned from Peter the Great.

Photo #170 taken on June 07, 2019 during countryside tour to Sergiyev Posad with my dear clients from India, Piyali and Nandini.
