The monument to Vladimir Mayakovsky on Triumphalnaya Square

The monument to the Soviet poet Vladimir Mayakovsky on background of the hotel Peking, the Stalinist building built in 1955 by design of architect Dmitry Chechulin. The monument was unveiled on July 28, 1958 at the square that has already been named after the poet.
