Churches of Goritsky Monastery of Dormition
Beautiful view from the local bell tower on the architectural Ensemble of Goritsky Monastery of Dormition. The monastery of Assumption of Mother God was founded in village Goritsy, near Pereslavl-Zalessky, in the 14th century. In front of this picture is standing a big church with green onion domes, Dormition (Assumption) cathedral, built in middle of the 18th century. Behind the main cathedral of the monastery, is standing another impressive and tall church of All Saints with elegant silver domes built at the end of the 17th century in baroque style (very popular at that time).>/p>
