Standing on a small hill near the Nerl River, close to its confluence with the Klyazma, the church of The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin looks magnificent in any season and in any weather conditions. Its gleamingly white limestone walls make a great contrast with blue sky or the dark grey clouds like on the picture.
