Assumption Cathedral

The Cathedral of Assumption (Dormition) is the key highlight of Cathedral Square. It is the main church of Moscow Kremlin where, besides regular services, coronations of Moscow Grand Princes and Russian Tsars, inaugurations of Metropolitans and Patriarchs of Russian Orthodox Church occurred, as well as many important church rituals and state events were held.
