«The Green Bay - Novy Svet»

A view from a road at Sokol mountain to the west on the Green Bay (Zelenaya Buhta) where situated settlement Novy Svet (New World). The picturesque place is located about 6 km (4 miles) from Crimean Sudak. This tranquil bay with its crystal clear water is protected from wind on both sides by imposing mountains. On this picture, at the other side of the bay, you can see Eagle Mountain (Mt. Oryol) looming over the bay.

Suzdal Monasteries: Snow-Covered City of Churches

A bird's eye view of the frozen city of Suzdal. The picture taken from the 72-meter-tall bell tower of the Rizopolozhensky Monastery has St. Alexander Nevsky Monastery on the higher bank of the Kamenka River in the foreground. Just behind on the lower riverbank there is Pokrovsky Convent (Convent of the Intercession).
