Interior of the Church of St John the Baptist with a view of old copper panikadilo (Church Chandelier) under ancient vaults of the Church of St John the Baptist in Kerch city. The ancient Christian church was built in the Byzantine architectural style at the foot of the Mitridatskaya steps (there are 432 steps) in 717 AD and it is one of the oldest churches in Russia.
