Foros is a settlement founded and named by medieval Greek merchants. Located almost in the middle between Yalta and Sevastopol, Foros was rediscovered in the late 19th century by Alexander Kuznetsov, Moscow merchant, a Russian "tea king" who had his palace built on the sea shore.

Moscow State University from Local Pond

Views of the main building of Moscow State University during day or night, winter or summer, from local pond at the top of Sparrow Hills. It is one of seven Stalin skyscrapers built in Moscow after WWII. Construction of the Moscow State University was finished in 1953, later than other high-rises and it became probably the most impressive one.
