Portrait of my dear clients from the USA, Michael Gruber with Family, in front of the monument to Minin and Pozharsky on the Red Square during half day city tour in summer 2017. The statue was designed by the famous sculptor, Ivan Martos, and unveiled in a middle of the Red Square in 1818 as the city's first monumental sculpture. It the monument to Kozma Minin and Dmitri Pozharsky, the heroes of the national struggle for liberation against the Swedish and Polish invaders in 1610-1612. In 1931 the monument was moved to St. Basil's Cathedral (behind the monument of the picture) to open area of the main square in Moscow, Russia for people's meetings, demonstrations and military parades.
