«At the Kievskaya Metro Station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line»

My Dear client from USA, James Mastromarino, on Kievskaya metro station during a short Moscow city tour. On an early morning, July 15, 2014, James had a few hours to kill in Moscow on his way to Beijing from London and asked my services to show him the capital of Russia. In the very limited time (5 hours including transfers), I was able to show him the best sites in Moscow, including several stations of the famous Moscow metro. The Kievskaya station on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line was opened on April 5, 1953 and located under the Kievsky Railway station. Its d?cor is intended to illustrate the friendship between the Ukrainian and Russian people.

The photo #077 was taken on July 15, 2014 at 7:25 am, one hour before the accident in the subway, that happened in Moscow at 08:40 am on the same subway line (Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya) just 1-2 stops from this station (between the Park Pobedy and Slavyansky Boulevard stations). We were quite close in time and place to the accident in the metro, but thank God, we were already out, and escaped watching or even participating in the tragedy.
