Memory photo of my Dear clients from USA, Dawn & Tim McPike, in front of beautiful St. Basil's cathedral and Savior tower of Moscow Kremlin in the Red Square. The modern building at the right on this picture is the Lenin's tomb (Mausoleum) built here from wood in 1924 after death of Lenin and rebuilt from marble in 1931 by design of architect Schusev. Prospekt Mira (Avenue of Peace)

Prospekt Mira station of the Moscow Metro's Ring Line #5 was opened on 30 January 1952 as part of the second stage of the line, it is a pylon design by architects Vladimir Gelfreykh and Mikhail Minkus.
