«Spotlights at the Historical Museum»

View of the building of the State Historical Museum during the 1st International Festival "Circle of Light" in Moscow. The museum was built in Neo-Russian design created by architect Sherwood in 1883. It was opened to mark the coronation of Alexander III and was the result of a 20-year-long project to consolidate various archaeological and anthropological collections.

Red Fountains at Square of Victors at Twilight

Impressive red illuminated fountains in front of the main Obelisk Pobedy (Victory Obelisk) on the Square of Victors at Poklannaya Hill (Victory Park) at spring twilight. The red fountains symbolize the unthinkable amount of blood that had been shed by Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
