eautiful marble sculpture of a female dog framed by branches of a spruce tree in front of the Grand Palace of Yusupov family in Arkhangelskoye. The magnificent park called "Russian Versailles" was created in the 1790-s by Italian designer Giacomo Trombaro. The "golden age" of the manor came in early 19th century when Prince Nikolay Yusupov, patron of arts and the member of one of the richest nobilities in Russia, became the landowner acquired it from Golitsyn family.
