While I was setting up the details of my visit over email before I left the US, I appreciated how responsive and detailed Arthur was in quickly answering and addressing all of my questions and concerns. And I'm happy to report that the morning I spent with Arthur exceeded my expectations! I had an incredible visit and everything worked out perfectly, thanks to Arthur and his insightful, efficient services. Unfortunately, I only had a brief layover in the city, but we were able to make the most of my time there. (Even squeezed in two trips to Red Square because it was dark at 6:00 in the morning... so we went back just before heading back to the airport and now I have "night" shots and day shots!) Arthur’s suburb photography skills come as a nice added bonus in addition to his extensive knowledge of the country, its history, and famous landmarks. I have always been drawn to Russia because of its interesting story of which much of it has been misunderstood by the rest of the world. After reading your commentary about the war in the Caucasus, I agree that the western media gives Russia no chance at explaining itself as expected. But thanks to your site, people who really want to know the complete picture can have access to the other side of Russia which is often not told. We understood more of Russian history & culture through Arthur. He was a great guide & has been very patient with us when we ladies were enjoying our shopping. We also thanked him for the beautiful pictures he took for us especially the night scene around Moscow. We highly recommend Arthur to be your guide & driver. Arthur is extremely professional, excellent English, and vast knowledge of the history and culture of Moscow and Russia. Not only is he a terrific driver and guide, he helped us find a place to stay after our choice of hotel let a lot to be desired. We noticed that some of the other tours near us were listening more to Arthur’s presentation of the history then their own tour guide. The photos that he took during our tour were outstanding and he presented us with a disc of photos when we were leaving. We have very fond memories about our stay in Moscow all because Arthur took such good care of us and every detail of the tour.

With my blackberry I have email so it's great. I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful trip to Moscow. What an incredible experience. I could not imagine Moscow without you! It was so much more fulfilling. Russian has always fascinated. We hear about your country so much in the news that it was important for me to experience it first hand. I think in many ways North America and Russia are alike. We have very different histories, but in many ways we live the same in these times of rapid communication, TV and the internet. It is striking that without those tools cultures evolved so differently but with them we have many similarities! Stay in touch.
