Authur was able to relocate me to a more suitable hotel, after my "knowledgeable" travel agent booked me into totally inapropriate surrounds. Authur's extensive knowledge of the city and it's history made my stay even more memorable, as I was interested in seeing all the sights, not just the ones in the brochures.I was picked up from my hotel on time every time, and was not only shown the sights, but was taken to some very interesting and enjoyable restuarants and night spots, something that only some one who is local would know.More importantly, as I was travelling alone, Arthur's conversation and presence made me feel more at ease, as he was able to translate on my behalf in all manner of social and non-social interactions. I would certanly recommend that any one thinking of travelling to Moscow should contact Arthur before travelling, so he can point them in the right direction as to where to stay etc... I had such a good time that I now count Arthur as one of my friends.
	Mike and Pam Zent Email: By Request From: Chelan, Washington USA Date: 2006-10-23 01:14:00 What a good decision it was to hire Arthur as our guide for our extra day in Moscow after our Viking River Cruise. He was on ship promptly at the agreed upon time to meet us and load our luggage in his new car. He first took us to our hotel, and then because we were early and the room was not ready, he graciously offered to bring us back after lunch to help us check-in and then continue the tour. We choose three sights that we did not see on the cruise. Arthur knows his way around, drove safely, and escorted us inside each location. His knowledge in guiding us through was invaluable and he made sure we saw the most important items or features. We also went to a delightful resturant where the locals go to eat, which was reasonable and good. Besides being knowledgeable in his history, Arthur speaks very good English. When we finished the last tour he added some bonus areas he wanted us to see and refused to charge more than the agreed upon price. What an honest, dependable, humorus, intelligent, and super friendly gentleman. We would highly recommend him as a guide and driver to anyone going to the Moscow area. We enjoyed him so much that instead of having the hotel get us to the airport, we hired Arthur the next morning to take us. Again, he was ready and waiting, and got us to the airport almost on the dot as to what he told us it would take. He would not leave us until he was sure we understood where to go and then answered any final questions we had. Thanks Arthur for helping to make our trip to Russia so very special!!

We both felt that we were given a wonderful overview of Moscow in what was a pretty short timeframe. From the moment Arthur picked us up at the airport to our late night train departure we felt that we were in exceptionally competant hands. It was especially nice that Arthur went on the train with us to translate how things worked before we departed. I cannot say enough good things about Arthur's knowledge of the city and history. I was wondering how I could show them the city as they both would not be able to walk more than 100 m. But then I met Arthur and suddenly solutions for everything were in place - a car, wheel chairs, nice tours and - most importantly - a guy with a big heart! My mothers were so happy and I have no words to express my gratitude to Arthur for all his patience and kindness with these old ladies. Thank you, Arthur! The world is nicer with people like you!

He is very knowledgeable about Moscow history and makes you feel so comfortable during your visit! Arthur was always on time and excited and ready to share his city. We only had 2 days in Moscow and Arthur was amazing at helping see all the great sites in a short time, without ever feeling rushed. On our last day, Arthur took us to a great restaurant where he helped us to choose traditional Russian food from the menu! Arthur was more than a guide, he was a friend and we are very grateful to have met him. Thank you for helping us make our visit to Moscow one of our most favorite experiences we've had!
