Golden Hour at Uspenskoye War Memorial in Winter

The monument "To the Lost Compatriots" in village Uspenskoe highlighted with warm golden light in a golden hour at the beginning of twilight in the winter season. The Great Patriotic War Memorial devoted to all who defended Motherland in the Battle of Moscow, the capital of the Soviet Union. The long and bloody battle that took place between October 1941 and January 1942. The obelisk was established in 1982, about 40 km West from the center of Moscow city, Odintsovo district, Moscow Region. It shows a statue of a soldier holding machine gun above his head. The author of the monument is unknown.
