«Ka-52 Alligator Attack Helicopters at Domes of St. Basil’s Cathedral»

Four Kamov Ka-52 Alligator helicopters (NATO Designation Hokum-B) fly in formation over Red Square and St. Basil’s Cathedral during general rehearsal of Victory Day military parade in Moscow to commemorate the 71th anniversary of the capitulation of Nazi Germany in 1945.

The Ka-52 Alligator is an attack helicopter operated by the Russian Air Force that can fly day and night and in all weathers. It is designed to eliminate armored and non-armored ground targets, low-speed aerial targets and enemy frontline and tactical reserve forces, and can also fly surveillance missions and be used to direct a team of attack helicopters.
