One of the most interesting treasures of The Cathedral of St. Demetrius is a copy of the cross, specially manufactured in Byzantium in the 8th century and brought to Russia. A copy of the cross is an eight-century frame, covered with brass in 1957. You can see a copy of the cross behind the treasury in altar.
