Under Dali's Clouds - Church of St. George on Poklonnaya Hill

Church of St. George on Poklonnaya Hill in Victory Park, the memorial complex of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The golden-domed church was erected in neo-Russian style of architecture on the hill in 1993-1995. It was consecrated by Patriarch Alexis II on May 6th, 1995, in honor of celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Great Victory over Nazi Germany.
