«New Cathedral with Lighted Cross in Peredelkino»
The new Cathedral of Grand Prince Igor of Chernigov and Kiev in Peredelkino (suburb of Moscow city) at night. The unique stone cathedral with porcelain cupolas was consecrated by His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia Kirill on June 17, 2012. The cupolas of the beautiful new church in Peredelkino, countryside residence of Russian Patriarchs, were made in shape of famous domes of St. Basil’s cathedral on the Red Square and covered with porcelain using special new technologies that was developed in St. Petersburg. The lighted cross of the impressive church in honor of the Blessed Grand Prince Igor can be seen at night from far distance.
