Kuskovo Estate

By its artistic value, the architectural and park ensemble at Kuskovo Estate is a unique monument of the Russian estate culture of the 18th century, which has been preserved to this day.

The estate became widely known as a “summer entertainment residence” of one of the wealthiest people in Russia, count Pyotr Borisovich Sheremetyev, the son and heir of the famous field-marshal of the time of Peter the Great, the first Russian count Boris Petrovich Sheremetyev. He devoted more than fifty years of his life to the creation of a magnificent ensemble on the site of the patrimonial estate, which Sheremetyevs had owned since the 16th century.
