Panoramic view of Moscow on a frosty evening at the end of January 2014 from the observation platform surrounded by beautiful and mighty balustrade of red granite (1954). Huge sport arena of Luzhniki stadium is not illuminated as usual because of it was closed at the end of 2013 for reconstruction to prepare it for 2018 FIFA World Cup. Steam rising up from chimneys of a heating plant straight due low temperature (-14 C / 7 F) and almost no wind (that is good).

Lights of the Church of St. George at Twilight

View of the illuminated by spotlights the church of St. George the Victorious at spring twilight when the old-fashioned street lamps were just turned on. The golden-domed church was erected in a neo-Russian style of architecture on the hilltop of Poklonnaya Hill in 1993-1995.
