Bogatyrs of President's Regiment

Bogatyrs of President's Regiment
«Bogatyrs of President's Regiment»

Officers in old tsarist uniform ride majestically on beautiful horses during the exciting military parade on Cathedral Square of Moscow Kremlin. They look like Russian knights on defending of their Motherland and remind of the well-known painting of Vasnetsov with the same name "Bogatyrs" that you can see in the State Tretyakov Gallery. The popular 25-minute Ceremonial Changing of Foot & Cavalry Guards of the President’s Regiment takes place in Moscow every Saturday from April until October.

Photo #036 taken on May 03, 2008 during the tour of Moscow Kremlin with my dear clients from Austria, Dworak family.
