USSR is the Stronghold of Peace

Made in 1970s from aluminum by design of sculptor Stepan Shchekotikhin the state coat of arms of the Soviet Union and a slogan «USSR is the stronghold of Peace» on the grounds of the park of arts «Muzeon». From 1992 the park represents great collection of Soviet monuments. Originally, it was called “the Park of the Fallen Heroes” and later became well known as “Fallen Monument Park” or “Park of Fallen Sculptures”.
