«The Monument to Maxim Gorky»

The monumental bronze sculpture of Maxim Gorky, created by project of Vera Mukhina and Ivan Shadr in 1951. The monument to the famous Soviet writer stands behind the House of Artists at Krymsky Val on the grounds the Moscow park of arts "Muzeon" that sometimes known in English, the Fallen Monuments Park. Maxim stands here rather ignominiously stuck up against some trees.

Photo #112 taken on July 03, 2016 during Communist tour with my dear clients from India, Venky Babu and her husband.
