«Architectural Ensemble of Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery at Twilight»

Night view of the magnificent architectural ensemble of Savvino-Storozhevsky monastery in Zvenigorod, Moscow Region, in winter season at twilight. Most of the buildings were constructed in mid of 17th century on the money commissioned from Tsar Alexis (Aleksey Michailovich), father of Peter I (The Great). On this picture you can see the tallest building of the monastery – The Bell Tower (at the left), the powerful Krasnye Vorota (Red Gates) that was the main entrance inside the monastery before it was reconstructed (in the middle), and Tsarina's Chambers with porch that was built by tsar Alexis for his first wife (at the right).
