Under Cupola of the Church of the Theotokos of the Sign

The unique church of the Sign of Our Lady in the village of Dubrovitsy was erected by Italian masters in 1704 according to the order of prince Golitsyn, a teacher of Peter the Great. Its splendid interior shows the best features of European Baroque and elaborately decorated with statues of saints, apostles and angels that perfectly survived till present days. Nicely decorated chain on this picture holds a church chandelier under the cupola (dome) of the church.
