«Ded Moroz rides in Troika through the Triumphal Arch»

New Year light composition on Kutuzovsky Prospekt in front of the Arch of Triumph (1829-1834) shows Ded Moroz (Russian Santa) coming to Moscow in Troika, the traditional Russian sledge drawn by a team of three horses harnessed abreast. The height of this composition highlighted by 12 powerful halogen projectors is 8 meters (26 feet).

Zhivopisny Most - Merging Architecture & Nature

The unique cable-stayed Zhivopisny Most (lit. Picturesque Bridge) was built over the area of national park-preserve Serebryany Bor (lit. Silver Pinewood) in 2007 and became the pride of ex-mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov. It is truly a picturesque bridge that merges perfectly with beautiful landscapes of the large forest park in North-west Moscow stretched on both banks of Moskva River.
