View from the grounds of Zachatievsky Monastery (The Convent of Conception) on the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in winter season. The main church of the oldest monastery in Moscow was demolished by bolsheviks in 1930. After long discussion it was decided not to return to the project of MF Kazakoff, and create a The new version of the cathedral was built in Russian style in 2010 acording the old project by architect M.F. Kazakov. The church stands on a high basement where fragments of old cathedrals XVI-XVIII centuries could be preserved.
