Private Guide & Professional Driver in Moscow Arthur Lookyanov.
My name is Arthur Lookyanov and I'm very glad to cheer you as a visitor of my personal web-site. Although I wasn't born in Moscow, I've lived in the capital of Russia since I was 2 years old. That's why I consider myself a real Muscovite who loves this city as well as his own Motherland and respects it as a native city.

Colorful Russian Samovars

This picture of the Russian Samovars, standing on the upper shelfes near ceiling, I took inside the souvenirs shop on the Old Arbat street.

Samovar (Tea-urn) is a purely Russian invention. Its origin is connected with tea. Tea was delivered to Russia from the territory of West Mongolia in the 17-th century and was used as medicine among the nobility. Samovars became the symbol of Russian hospitality and family comfort as well as the sign of prosperity. It remains most stable attribute of domestic cosiness.
