Three old barns on stilts near frozen Kamenka river

Suzdal landscape with wooden barns on stilts that were placed outside museum of Wooden Architecture and Peasants Life at riverbank. The picture was taken in springtime when the river Kamenka was still frozen. The three 19th-century barns were moved to Suzdal from village Poltso of Murom region. They stood at floodplain of Oka River and used to store wheat and shipping it directly on river barges.
