St. John the Baptist Church Framed by Trees in Summer

Festive Gateway Church of Nativity of St. John the Baptist with shining golden onion-shaped domes framed by trees against white clouds and blue sky at a nice and warm summer day. The church on the grounds of the Holy Trinity – St. Sergius Lavra was built in "Moscow Baroque" style on the donations from noble Stroganov family in 1693-99 at the Red Gate, the main entrance into the monastery.
