Golden Domes of St. John the Baptist Church Framed with Clouds

The elegant and attractive golden cupolas of Gateway Church of Nativity of St. John the Baptist against white clouds and blue sky. The church was built on the grounds of the Holy Trinity – St. Sergius Lavra in "Moscow Baroque" style in 1693-99 near the Red Gate, the main entrance to the monastery, on the donations from Stroganov family.
