Museum of Kettles

On the way to the Museum-Estate “The Little Boat of Peter the Great”, a pleasant diversion at the small village of Veskovo is recommended to visit the well-known and unusual “Museum of Kettles”. The small private museum, founded by locals Andrey Vorobjev and Dmitry Nikishkin, occupies an old Russian log house (izba) where a large collection of kettles from the 19th century are displayed. From the owners you will hear amusing stories about why and where the different type of teapots were invented, and on the shelves, you can read funny stories about the assortment of kettles. Following a 15 minute stop at this museum, a good mood will be guaranteed!
