Overlooking Sunset Clouds Over Pleshcheyevo Lake

View of amazing sunset with storm clouds over Pleshcheyevo lake in Pereslavl-Zalessky from a quay with an empty bench near Church of the Forty Martyrs in the summer evening. In this place, a local river Trubezh flows into the huge lake.

In 1688–1693, Peter the Great built his famous "funny flotilla" (i. e. training flotilla) on Lake Pleshcheyevo for his own amusement, including the so-called Peter's little boat, which would be considered one of the forefathers of the Russian fleet.
