«With Blue Onion Cupolas of Nativity Cathedral in Suzdal»

My Dear client from USA, Jason Cohen and his family, Tracey, Madison, Justin and little three year old Reese on hands, on earthen rampart in Suzdal Kremlin with background of the beautiful white-stone Nativity Cathedral (Rozhdestvensky Cathedral) constructed in 1225-1225. The upper part of the church was rebuilt in second half of 16th century from brick. The amazing blue onion-shaped cupolas (domes) with gilded stars were replaced with the old ones in 1750. The cathedral of Nativity of the Virgin is worthy of interest not only due its architecture but also due its remarkable interior. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.

Photo #295 taken on August 24, 2014 during long distance one day countryside tour to the Golden Ring of Russia towns, Suzdal and Vladimir.
