The Cathedral of St. Demetrius is a unique white-stone monument of architecture of Vladimir-Suzdal land of pre-Mongol period. The temple was built by Prince Vsevolod the Big Nest and sanctified in the name of St. Demetrius of Salonika. Nowadays the cathedral is under the authority of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve and opened as a museum exhibition.
